Essential Beekeeping Supplies

Do you know what supplies you need to bring when you’re out and about in the ‘field’? Here’s some pictures of my bee bucket. I encourage you to find some time and create your personal handy dandy beekeeping tool box too! It saves a lot of time with organization and can help aid you as a beginner beekeeper.

I bought the bucket at my local hardware store, and the bucket organizer from Amazon.
Slowly, I’m still adding more essential supplies to the bucket.
“You got to have the turkey feather!” as my grandfather always says.
Feel free to store your suit in the bucket as well!

Simplified List

  • Smoker
  • Hive tool
  • Hammer
  • Bee Brush or Bird Feather
  • Lighter
  • Hammer
  • Nails and Screws
  • Notebook (to record observations)

The best thing you can do as a beekeeper is to always be prepared!
