This is a healthy twist of sweet potato fries. The flavors are a hint of salt, crack of pepper, but satisfying natural sweetness. This is a great alternative if you are craving for anything sweet n’ salty . I would pair this with a side of creamy avocado dip and a turkey burger, making your fast food craving-a healthy choice. Enjoy!

Ingredient List:
- 4 medium sized sweet potatoes
- 2 tbsp. of honey
- 1/2 tbsp. black cracked pepper
- 2 tsp. of salt
- 1 tbsp. of olive oil (sunflower + avocado oil are alternatives)
Prep:
- Peel and chop your sweet potato into wedges, dices, or steak cut. (I diced mine into mini fries).
2. Put a pan on medium heat and drizzle 1 tbsp. of oil.

Cook:
3. Transfer the potatoes into the pan and heat it on high. Cover it with a lid.
4. Stir until five minutes and add 1 cup of water to the pan. Immediately cover it.
5. For 20 minutes let it simmer and occasionally stir.
4. Then drizzle 2 tbsp. of honey when the water evaporated and the potatoes are frying.
5. Add the condiments, and let it fry for 10 minutes occasionally stirring.
6. Let it cool for 5 + minutes before touching
7. Enjoy!

Tip: As soon as the pan is not hot, wash immediately so the honey doesn’t crust up. But to remove brunt sugar simply sprinkle some baking soda in the bottom of the pan and then add enough water to cover the scorched food. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer it for 15 to 30 minutes to loosen the burnt sugar.
Creamy Avocado Dipping Sauce:

Is it just me…. I absolutely LOVE avocado with everything. Toast, salad, chickpeas, naan, tacos, pesto, sauce, pasta mashed potatoes and fries. It’s a healthy fat, has tons of essential vitamins and nutrients, plus it can decrease cardiovascular diseases. Why not try this dip with your next fry?
